Little Hallingbury Mill Nestled alongside a pretty tributary of the River Stort Little Hallingbury Mill offers its guests good food, good value accommodation and a warm welcome in a picturesque and tranquil setting.
Set in a rural location on the Essex/Hertfordshire border we are still only a short distance away from Stansted Airport, the M11 motorway and the main line rail connection to London Liverpool Street Station. Harlow Greyhound track is nearby and there are some great local walks along the River Stort and at nearby Epping Forest. Oh and it is only a 30 minute rail journey to the City of London ! Our restaurants, offering a choice of freshly prepared English food served in generous portions at reasonable prices, is open to residents and non residents for lunch from 12.30pm to 3.30pm daily and every evening 7pm to 9.00pm. For resident guests arriving later than 9.00pm we will provide a light meal menu.
In addition to draft beer, lager, wine and spirits we also offer a wide ranging selection of some of Britain's best bottled fine ales and ciders.
Our bottled fine ales are selected for us by beer appreciation society The Fine Ale Club. Thanks to their support we even stock a high quality fine ale called Against The Grain which is suitable for Coeliacs. |
Conferences, Functions & Weddings Our picturesque, tranquil setting makes Little Hallingbury Mill an ideal venue for parties, business meetings, small conferences, weddings and other functions.
We offer competitive rates for groups of up to 60 people, and will be pleased to tailor party, conference and wedding packages to your requirements.
Weddings Little Hallingbury Mill is a popular venue for couples looking for a picturesque and private venue for a small and intimate reception.
Prices from as little as £1,000 are available for private use of the venue for a sit down 3 course wedding breakfast and drinks package for up to 40 people plus an evening reception for up to 60 people.
At present we cannot offer a venue for parties in excess of 45 people for a sit down meal or 70 for a buffet style reception.

Valentine's Day Carvery Our restaurant will be open from 12.30pm to serve our popular Sunday Carvery. Valentine's Day Dinner SOLD OUT In the evening of 14 February 2010 from 7pm, the Mill restaurant will be serving this special Valentine's Day Dinner Menu. Priced at £27.50 per person reservations will be limited to a maximum of 10 couples to ensure intimacy. Romantic Break SOLD OUT For a £10 supplement on our usual weekday price of £105 up to 4 couples can enjoy the special Valentine's Day Dinner Menu as part of a romantic break package. Friday Night Carvery In response to the popularity of our Sunday lunch time service from 9th January 2010 onwards our Restaurant will be offering a Carvery Dinner on Friday evenings every week.
Enjoy a main course of 2 roasts, with roast potatoes, roasted vegetables, peas, brussels, yorkshire and a delicious gravy for just £8.95.
During January and February 2010 you will be able to add a starter or dessert for just £2 extra or take all three courses for just £13.95. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available plus discounts for children under the age of 12.
