Housed on the first floor of the main building, it is simply quiet elegance and strictly no smoking. Open to both residents and non-residents, booking is always advisable. It is open from 6.30p.m. to last orders at 9.30p.m. It offers an a la carte style blackboard menu which constantly changes. Only the best local meat and fish is used and the vegetables are the market’s finest. Special dietary needs are catered for providing adequate notice is given.
Prices range from £13.95 for a two course meal. A good selection of wines is available.
There is also a bar menu available for those not wishing to dine in the restaurant. Unlike the restaurant, guests may smoke in the bar, where the focal point is the handsome mill wheel.
